Step 38? It plainly says to use a symmetry object (it’s hidden under the array object). Then make the object you want mirrored a child of the symmetry by dragging it onto the symmetry object.

Amazing tutorial, will have to try this out soon. And please, more tuts on Cinema 4D. I have Cinema 4D and 3Ds Max and I can use both, but I still like working on C4D more.
