Casting realistic looking shadows from a cg object is extremely critical to making your cg believable in a live action environment. It is, however, also extremely difficult. In this tutorial you will learn how to use Cinema 4d to make a shadow catching layer that you will then be able to composite together with the main rendered video in After Effects.
