To ‘john’….this is actually an awesome tutorial, read the title, its not only a C4D tut…City Kits a really fun thing to play with once you figure it out, and this tut has taught me that.

Wow i can`t belive it how dissapointed i feel, i`ve commented o nthe new Cinema 4D “tutorial” and they deleted my comment, that is human rights violation ! Shame on you, “tutsplus” staff !
Anyway i second “john” as he is perfectly right ! For other apps you can see nice and complex tutorials (nice modeling tutorials) but for C4D u see 70% beginner tutorials… Not fair !

      Hey Occultcg,

We don’t delete comments unless they’re spam or an attack on one of our authors. You’re welcome to say whatever you want in regards to any of our tutorials or the site in general (good or bad.)

The comment you posted on the materials tutorial didn’t show up because it was flagged for moderation. Which happens automatically for anyone commenting for the first time. I’ve approved both comments, and thank you for offering your thoughts. Although I disagree that 70% of our C4D tutorials are solely for beginners, I understand what you’re saying.

We try to offer a wide range of projects for every software, with varying degrees of difficulty. But for whatever reason, 3D Studio Max and Maya tend to be the choice for most authors working on complex modeling projects. That being said, we’ll see if we can find an author to do an extensive modeling project using Cinema 4D.

      Cheers,
      Chris
