It’s using the same technique from a tutorial from FXPHD by Tim Clapham. Not really original.

:-) Hi Alexande, great tutorial!
The only problem is that after unchecking the Hard IK from the Main(bone)Tag,
then playing the timeline and moving the Main(bone) forward and backward,
the logo doesn’t make the jelly movement, the logo stays the way it originally is….?
I followed the tutorial procedure precisely, can someone help me?
Check the bones below the main bone – Null bone for each to be No check
Hey Alexander
I have the same problem, I used the tip he mentioned and did not work.

Hey, fantastic tutorial, and a great site too. I’m excited to see how you get on with this stuff… I’d recommend everyone watches the ’5 tips on type’ you did.
Anywho, here’s my effort… http://www.vimeo.com/9005652
hey guys I don’t get it , when I put nurbs effect nothing happens:( why??
Hi Alexander, again, great tut, except I too am having the same unchecking Hard IK problem, it is not working and I have followed the instructions precisely three times.. Not sure what you are referring to by checking the bones below the main bone..
can you tell me what is the best 3d application out there with AE?
This is a Complete Rip-off from a Tutorial made by Tim Clapham for FXPHD, be warned!

Awesome tutorial, and the effect looks like it could be really great. Unfortunately, it’s not working the way you described.
Using Cinema4Dr11. Built my logo and made the extrusions, set up the meshes and built the bones. IK chain is set up and bones are fixed to the logo. I run the animation and the “jelly” effect doesn’t happen. Switched off the “Hard IK” option and there is still no “jelly” effect. Checked that bones weren’t set to “Null” as you suggested (except for “Main” of course) and still no “Jelly effect.
It is 2:00am and I have been trying to figure this out for about 5 hours.
Thank you for a neat idea. Would like to know how to really make it work.
dude this is a good tutorial but its half done. Everyone is stuck where you want to animate the stuff. HARD IK not working..what gives ?
Let’s celebrate this new tutorial.
Great Start Alexander.
I saw your website and it has other pretty and interesting stuff.
Cheers!!!
Hello, same here, great tutorial but not working, same problem as the others!! Whats the point of a great tutorial if you miss a big issue ?? Some help thanks!
Dosent work, cant animate……………………………..
very useful feature with dynamic reflections :)
thank u very much — great job!
Tried but same problem of the other people, is not doing the Jelly thing, maybe there’s some option in preferences that is blocking the effect.
DID SOME ONE COULD DO IT?????, TELL US HOW
FINALLY!!!, I’m new to cinema 4D and I’m not really sure how did I fix it, I was following the tutorial exactly as Alexander said but noticed that my menu was different from alexanders, so I clicked Use MOCCA IK and the all worked fine.
As I said I’m new to Cinema 4D this is my fist work in this program (I used to work whit 3dsmax) and I dont know whats the diference or what does have to do Use MOCCA IK, but hope this can help you guys.
Thanks Alxander for such easy and amazing tutorial.!!!!
Thank you for the great tutorial it helped me understand some things about C4D!
