Creating convincing product visualizations can sometimes be a daunting task, due to the high level of detail and fidelity the artist must achieve in order to make it believable. In this multi-part, intermediate to advanced level tutorial, you will learn the many techniques needed to model a Microsoft Zune HD. Setting up your workspace for your reference images and using them as a guide, modeling complex shapes from boxes, and polygon pushing will all be covered, and can be adapted to virtually any 3D package.

Yeah, second that. This has been a great series, I’ve learned alot from this on points and spline modeling. It was interesting to see how you did your screen materials. I had a go at an iPhone while waiting for this and made two separate pieces for the screen and the actual display. I can see this would eliminate any possible render chatter from the two objects being to close or anything like that. Great tutes, thanks alot.
