        thanks antonio,

      • Patrick Riley

Well i didnt mean to sound like an ass that was worded and probably shouldn’t have been said like that. Not sure if that was supposed to be an insult back or not but i still think its funny that you actually know of my website haha i havent touched in in years but you linking to it increased my web traffic haha ;) look i think its a great tutorial i didnt read your name and associate the language barrier until after i posted it.

Sorry if that sounded rude! MUCH RESPECT MAN!

and thanks for the 100′s of page views hehe ;)

      • Patrick Riley

Also nice job on remembering my name considering i only put “pat” on that comment im laughing so hard!

Antonio I love your tutorials. I was horrible at Cinema last year and you showed me how precise and meticulous you have to be to get things right.

Your voice doesn’t bother me and if the fact that you take all this time out of your life to teach these people that watch for FREE is admirable. And then they have the balls to heckle you?!

Keep doing what your doing, you are easily the best Cinema author on here

      • Daksh Mehra

I followed all the steps and got a good result. When will the second part will be up? It has been a year and three months to be exact.

You must remember that it may not be self conscious, but language barriers and ease. It may be easier for Antonio to script things out and produce a video that way, rather than doing it live and cutting. For some, English may not be their first language, so it’d be a pain for them to do so. To cut the frustration, he probably chose to do it this way.

      Great tutorial man!

Now thats a really good point i often speak before thinking and im not sure if he was trying to insult my website or not… lol i was only 17-18 when i made that site with no formal training and had only been using C4D for about 3 months.

Wonderful introduction (though Isn’t the song composed by John Powell?)

    • http://www.crrntn.com Antonio Cerri

      Hi james,

The music accompanying the logo to start live-action DreamWorks movies was specially composed by John Williams (although a number of DreamWorks films, such as Galaxy Quest and Saving Private Ryan, omit the music); the DreamWorks Animation logo has music from the Harry Gregson-Williams/John Powell score for Shrek.

This is the newest logo for DreamWorks Animation. The music was composed by John Powell and Harry Gregson-Williams (based on the theme from the first Shrek), and premiered on the 2010 film How to Train Your Dragon.

      Cheers
      Antonio

    Hi Antonio Cerri,

I was wondering if you can make a tutorial on the topic of creating the logos, text, etc in Illustrator and how you prepare it for Cinema 4D and how you do the same inside Cinema 4D with vector tools, keep up the superb work and tutorials you do, I’m a independent Motion Designer and it is a true honor having you share some of your knowledge and techniques that are in some cases different than what others do and work flawlessly, thanks and I hope you still be doing it for as long as you live, cheers.
