Final Product What You'll Be Creating

This entry is part 3 of 3 in the series 'Dynamic Building'

In Day 3 of our dynamic building, which is now, more about a city, then a building. We will be talking mostly about mograph and the cloner object, as well as exploring various ways of making these buildings into a dynamically generated city. You don’t really need Day1 or Day2 to make use of this tutorial, there is just a small section towards the end which discusses how to fix a couple of problems with the buildings we made in days 1 and 2.

    Hi Aleksey,

all in all a very good tutorial series. At some points a little bit confusing ;) For example the issues with the cloner blendmode concerning the textures. You mentioned to use the mograph color shader to avoid this. I cant get it to work – any tips?

    Thanks for your efforts!

      Nervermind, I found a solution:

      1) Choose for your shaders inside the color tab the mographcloner, and apply them to your objects you want to clone/blend

      2) Use the shader effector on the cloner and set under the shading tab a gradient with the needed colors as a shader.

You will only see the effect when you render!
