I’ve never been able to create a good looking flame, like this.
I was going through this tutorial but when I’m doing first render from part 2 there is no fire. It looks like this:

I set up the physics, materials, texture and smoke settings identically like in tutorial. Does anyone knows what can be wrong?
@aest: It looks as you set up density on the material improperly, also have you used indirect lighting or AO, it seams it is incompatible with volumetric materials for now (I could be wrong, it’s just an issue I ran across while experimenting with volumetrics)

A great tutorial, but my flame is higher than yours. Could anybody help me ? Thanx a lot !
In the domain settings in the resolution settings under the dissolve checkbox: the higher the time, the higher the flame. the right settings can be different because of the size of the emitter
