    please don’t make this a premium…
was waiting for this tutorial for a long time….

or at least make this tutorial in max also…..cos i think max is better for in organic modeling :(
    but nice tutorial….

  2. I want to have it in real :)

  3. Emın says:

There are some problems behind the fuel cap

  4. Tony says:

hey, come on why u do the best tutorials only for premium, and the worst for free. Sometimes do it vice verse!

    • Kai says:

      Nah dude….
ppl here made some many great tutorials for free
      n i’m #1 thankful here :D

    • Obvious question says:

Because they want you to pay for the best, and are giving the free ones because they’re awesome.

I shouldn’t have to had answered this

  5. I recall 3DCreative had few magazine series on how to model this Bugatti Veyron vehicle. It was for Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, maybe Modo or even Lightwave?

  6. WebGuide4U says:

Don’t make this one premium please its a request plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  7. Sweoz says:

All 3D tutorials can be followed with any 3D package, remember that 3d modelling is not up to the package it is how you handle it. There are no “one button fix it all” it is all about seeing 3d space, and practice. Also there are bucket loads of car tutorials for free out there, just google search if you need something for a particular program.

    • Doc says:

Thanks, but people needing your advice would never have a future in the CG industry.
TYhanks for stating the obvious… its funny!

How is this tutorial any different than this one https://shop.3dtotal.com/index.php?cPath=28_60 ?

I’m just curious, and for those looking for 3ds Max versions you should check that pdf book out :]

  10. jnothing says:

So, ironically yes, there are other tuts out there. Granted they are for sale…
But why not post tuts of things that haven’t been done? And why seek to be paid for the tut, then insist it goes into the premium bin?
I would think that a tut that you get paid for, that then people essentially have to pay for, that already exists in some form or another is sort of … well… tacky.
I’m a paid member, but I remember how stoked I’d be seeing something I wanted when I was not. Had I seen tuts here that are offered elsewhere for sale, I likely would never have joined!

Hey thats just a book. And its obvious that you learn more from a video tutorial than from a book. Any way that book shows you to model the car right away but in this tut I have made some mistakes either purposely or by mistake and you can see me correcting those mistakes in the later stages. So please don’t tell that this tut is available else ware.

Hey guys great to see you all.
At stephanie: This tutorial is entirely different from that book in many ways. first of all that book shows you how to model the parts of the car in detail only at the beginning.. later on it shows you only the final image of the part that is to be modeled and asks you to model the part on your own but my tutorial shows you how to model the car step by step and finally this is a video training which is entirely different from books.

    • Jannes says:

Does this include how to render/add materials ?

      • Madhan_2005 says:
        Author

No this only contains the modelling part. perhaps at a later time I can also do a uv texturing and rendering tut:)

    • Kai says:

      Dude, since it’s a hard surface… isn’t better to use 3ds max … :(

I hope to see a 3ds max hard surfaces projects advanced projects :(

hope CGtut+ take that under consideration

    • Stephanie says:

Thanks for the reply! I really was just wondering as its hard to tell what’s included in your tut from the brief summary.

    • PavanRzx says:

      ya i know,but u better do this in 3ds max,cos u know,there are many of them who use 3ds max……
so please do this in 3ds max or make this a free tutorial instead of premium…

  12. abitbol says:

      Hey abitbol,
great work. hope you all enjoy the tutorial!!!!

And for all others who have not commented, please take 2 seconds to tell the people over here on how I have done the tutorial. And also I can correct my mistakes from you.

sorry guys, that comment just before must go to vivek _tomar. sorry for the error

  13. Joe says:

Just wanted to say that it doesn’t matter in which package the tutorial is done. The author uses Maya, but you can apply all the techniques to Max, C4D, Modo, etc…
If you can’t do a tutorial that is done in a different package that you are using, then I guess you don’t know your package very well.

    • b_vld says:

Joe said what i was about to say and btw a lot of great/professional tutorials on this site are FREE and only 2 premium tut, support this great site and stfu(aka pavanrzx).

P.S: I don’t know why you say 3ds max is better at organic moddeling than somme other program, this tut you can follow even in wings3d or blender.

      • pavanrzx says:

I said 3ds max is good for inorganic modeling dumb ass…….and i know u can follow this tut and model in other software’s but its better to make it at least free and not premium.

  14. Jannes says:

@ Pavanrzx, Some tutorials will be premium. Live with it. Tuts+ can only supply us with good quality tuts of they get some money in to buy tutorials for us.

    • Pavanrzx says:

OK OK…i got it man chill..
am sorry for what ever i have said about cg tuts….
this is the only cg website which provides us with pro tutorials…
so am gonna become a premium subscriber and then watch this awesome tutorial….

  15. Elmo says:

I really cant seem to set up the reference images properly. Could the auther not just upload a begin scene including these images?

  16. Moemen Khafaga says:

    very bad tutorial !!

and this image is fake btw ! it’s not the final model, probably from another tutorial !

a beginner will make a much better model than the one in this tutorial.

does not deserve to be premium !

  17. Nick says:

I recently became a premium member because of some of the premium images that I saw looked very interesting and I just had to model them. However, all of the premium tutorials on here are not that good. This one is a very good tutorial but if a beginner was to download this video they would be lost from the start. There is no explanation on how to set up the reference images and then he shows you how to do three curves and then BAM!, they are all done. Premium tutorials are made to be in full detail. If we are going to pay for these tutorials at least walk us step by step through the entire process. Dont assume that the viewer is not a beginner. I am by no means a professional but I have a little experience with Maya and I am disappointed on the content of this tutorial and the other premium tutorials on here. Not going to be downloading anymore. The free tutorials are more detailed and actually walk you through every vertex, polygon, edge etc. that is created.
