This tutorial is Day 3 in a series – Go to Day 1, or Day 2
In the first part of the series, Ron created the low poly model from reference and then moved on to create the high poly source for the purpose of texture baking. In the second part, Ron unwrapped the model, laid out the uvs, and then baked out a high poly normal and occlusion map using Mayas transfer maps tool. Now, in the third and final part, Ron will walk you through his detailed process of painting convincing diffuse and specular maps for use on in game assets!
