    Hey Chandan,

Happy Janmashtami! Thanks for the tutorial it introduced me to skinning and morphing.
I have a query though, while animating, would it not be easier to use the curve editor to copy the keys across the timeline than doing it manually? Other interesting option would be to use Pflow and see an army of Slithers attack :) Thanks again! Best Wishes.

Thanks Subhash to like the tutorial.
Using Curve Editor is a nice thing, but somehow I made this tutorial like this that even a fresher could use it. Using PF Source is also a good thing if you want to show a heavy crowd of the “slithers”. I will definitely incorporate all these thing in some other tutorial with another eye catching example. Thanks for the idea though ;) .

Haven’t done the tutorial yet, but it looks great. We definitely need more 3ds max rigging tutorials around…

One point though – it looks like you have some serious GI flicker problems in the render. You might want to fix that…

      Thanks.
Well this is not GI problem. This is due to the low quality of “Shadow” settings and by default “anti aliasing”,”filter” etc. Definitely it could be enhanced if you want to see the best output. But for a tutorial, I didn’t go in too deep of rendering settings. Well you can wait for my next tutorial which will show a tip to enhance rendering quality. Thanks.

      • Spencer

Fair enough – I’ll look out for the tutorial. I’ve found that you can always learn more about rendering in 3DS Max!
