Paying for textures… Can’t agree with that.

hahaha, thank you very much for the compliments Thiago ^^

You can create a free member ship and get 15mb textures a day, wich is pretty well i think, because genrally textures are less than 5 Mbs, so…Hope you will enjoy other days :D

      Best regards

      Wassim

      • Thiago Consolaro says:

Actually, 15mb a day it’s not that bad, but I remember when that website was 100% free.
But I think they had a good reason to create that registration thing, cuz their textures are really good and you can download maps on different sizes. They are really good.

I use MAX 2011 and I think there is no VRay for this version yet, I think. Maybe not. But the new version of MAX has a LOT of good materials. There’s a nice Material library on it. Anyway, I think I’ll have to keep using MAX 2010.

        Thank you again.

    100% agree with ya :D

Actually i read somewhere that Vray SP4, works perfectly on 3ds max 2011 !
If you are a legal user, you can upgrade and get the full power of vray on max 2011 :D

It is recommended to have 8Gb of ram for 3ds 2011 to run, and i don’t have them so…;LOL

    Best regards

    Wassim

I have a ichy problem. After I I turn on the indirect illumination (GI) and render the scene, it turned pitch black. I dont know what is the problem, the objiect doesnt illuminate. Please help.

  17. LEAF says:

I may have found the issue, in the Vray global illumination>lighting>default light. I have it turn off in GI. After turning it on and rerender the scene it turn to normal. no more blackness.
