Advanced Poly Modeling – Tassimo T-65 Home Brewing Station: Part 2

Advanced Poly Modeling – Tassimo T-65 Home Brewing Station: Part 2

Tutorial Details

Final Product What You'll Be Creating

This entry is part 2 of 6 in the series Advanced Poly Modeling: Tassimo T-65

In part 2 of the series, we’ll continue blocking out the main sections of the Tassimo T-65 Home Brewing Station and then begin separating out the various elements and panels for final adjustments, topology cleanup and smoothing.

Project Overview:
In this new tutorial series focused on product modeling and rendering, we’ll create the Tassimo T-65 Home Brewing Station from Bosch. Starting in 3d Studio Max we’ll use a few simple blueprint images to do a block-out of the base, and then begin the process of breaking down and refining the model using more advanced poly modeling techniques to create the final High-res asset. Later lessons will include UVMapping, Texturing, creating V-Ray materials and finally building a suitable studio lighting rig and rendering out the model with V-Ray.

This entry is part 2 of 2 ? no more modeling parts ?

    • Ben_Tate

      Hey ModoVision,

No worries! There’s actually several more modeling parts coming. There’s still an enormous amount of work to do on the model before we get into mapping, texturing and rendering. So I’ll be getting the next sections up as soon as I can ;)

I know the “Series Link” at the top of the description is a little misleading. The plugin we use to generate that only recognizes parts of a tutorial that have already been published. So right now it assumes there are only two parts in total. When in actual fact, it will probably end of being a least eight parts by the time this thing is done!

      Cheers,
      Ben

@ Matthew.. Yes this is the final of the 2 part modelling section.. As stated in the project overview “Later lessons will include UVMapping, Texturing, creating V-Ray
materials and finally building a suitable studio lighting rig and
rendering out the model with V-Ray.”. Very similar to Bens earlier iPhone tutorial
