Model a High Poly Canon A1 Camera in Modo – Day 2
Creating complex hard-surface objects using subdivision surfaces (SDS) can often be a tricky and time-consuming ordeal, although this does not necessarily have to be the case. In this three day, intermediate to advanced level tutorial, we’ll be using Modo 302’s feature-rich toolset to accurately model the Canon A1 camera, resulting in an object that is almost entirely SDS.
This tutorial is Day 2 in a series – Go to Day 1, or Day 3.

Looks sick! Love models!
Awesome as always, very informative, great voice..
Thank you very much for sharing these Matt!
i was just wondering where did the abstract design in C4D tut go??
was there something wrong with it??moderators??
Snap thats what I was wondering.
It got yanked because several of us members pointed out that there are five hundred tuts like that online already. You could just take a bounch of broken glass and glue it together, then photo it against a black background… I’d wear gloves though.
I know the one you are talking about JNothing, and you are half right…it was actually yanked due to plagiarism. I believe that Abojung was talking about the C4D Greeble Effect tut that follows this one though, which (in answer to his question) was just the result of scheduling blooper. It briefly appeared online when it was really this Modo Camera tut that was supposed to have been published on that day.
Nice tutorial buddy…
Thanks guys
Matt
