Just a quick note on other methods of achieving a darker iris outline: 1. double clicking on a layer to open its' layer style tab and choosing gradient overlay, then changing the mode to radial. 2. in the same tab satin is also usable, but you have to make sure the 'invert' box is unchecked and you may also play around with the 'contour' curve a bit. 3. its also achievable using masks and Im sure there are many other ways since Photoshop is such a versatile program, but the two mentioned above would work pretty quick here.
