Trust me when I say this program is good. Anyone who wants to learn 3d (highpoly or lowpoly) and doesnt want to spend money, GET THIS!
Granted it will take a while to learn the new interface, but once you do it will be easy.
Blender is really fantastic. The best software to get into 3d stuff.
2.49 release is slow on mac

so you recommend not to download something free… free and great… because the shortcuts aren’t the same as say… 3ds max or maya?
For the second part.. if you can’t find basic tutorials for blender… you really aren’t looking.
have you heard of google? “Blender for begginers” *facepalm*
Blender is complicated but if u r using script then its make easy for you its a mesh base, if you r using texture in your blender file its make a single file your texture also in it (in blender file)
