    AWESOME TUT

    FIRST :D

  • A harsh chritic

Is this a joke? CGtut’s has been putting out fairly good tutorials for the start of the website and this crap makes it on?

I mean all the balls wouldn’t naturally be all positioned in the same direction and in a proper rack they would all be touching or extremely close to each other.

Also, the green felt looks more like wood and you can noticably see the texture repeat.

Looks like there is only 1 light source and no global illumination, what?!

All you do is check a few boxes and move some dials and you get 10 times better renders. Did you spend more than 5 minutes making this…

Take it easy man, this is a freebie section. What you make with the models is your responsability.

Well…at least your user name is appropriate:P You are aware that this is in the “Freebies” section and not a tutorial right?

Wow! These balls look so real! Although I’ve used 3d Studio Max in the past, I had to look for the second time to understand that it wasn’t a real photo, although I would agree with my friend that the positioning of the balls doesn’t make it look very natural.
