Create A Soap Scene In Modo

In this tutorial, new Cgtuts+ author Elias Sarantopoulos guides us through the process of creating a soap dispenser and refill bottle in Luxology Modo. Through-out the scene’s creation, Elias will use simple modeling tools and techniques to first block out the overall shapes, before adding subdivision and refining the objects final appearance. He’ll then discuss the material and texture setup, as well as lighting the scene for our final product shot. Modo Interior With Precision

Modo Interior With Precision

Greetings modonauts! My name is Adam Ohern, industrial design consultant and founder of cadjunkie.com. In this series we’ll be using modo’s ‘snaps and precision’ tools to build and render an interior scene. This was originally created as a part of a larger class, so pre-made assets such as the coffee cup mentioned in the video will be included in the tutorial assets folder. Modo is not a replacement for architectural drafting tools, but it can certainly be used to create convincing rapid concept renderings. Have fun!
