62 Gorgeously Designed CG Characters

I decided to take a break from the tutorial roundup scene and take a voyage through the amazing sea of CG artwork spread out across the interwebs. This week I am focusing on some of my favorite CG characters that I’ve discovered along the way, some old, some new… but all absolutely fantastic.

    The realism in some of these renderings are excellent…would love to have known which packages were used and the average time it took to create these.

    thanks man , some of these characters are amazing (humans characters) , but monsters characters i did not like it in the ethical aspect , at general this is very nice work.

    Really nice characters (most). And the last one is brilliant! Instead of all those buffed heroes we have an old fart with a nice sword :)

    nice works indeed, some of the aliencreatures are not my favs, but most of the humes are neately rendered…
    and jsut like D.V. said, it would be nice to know about wich packages they made it with…I visited some of the creators website but most don’t tell wich software they use, allthough sometimes you can tell by the “making off”…

    anyway nice post:)

    Agree with LD – you think you’re doing well and your skills are almost there, when BAM, along comes a bunch of photos that make the top harder to reach. Amazing work…. must learn Z Brush.

  31. Some really creepy stuff here, but a clear display of awesome skills and imagination, the “rifleman” looks like DotA’s Dwarven Sniper “Kardel Sharpeye” pretty good resemblance… Love this set…
