Cgtuts+ is a brand new site, meaning now is the best time to have your say on what you’d like to see here. Whether you’re dying for modeling tutorials, awesome texturing demonstrations, articles on broad CG topics like plug-ins and reducing rendering time, or anything else in the CG universe, we’d like to hear from you!
And you can suggest not just particular topics, but feedback on how you think the site should operate, site suggestions and any other ideas you want to share with the editorial team.
UserVoice pages!
We use a system called UserVoice to get community feedback. It’s a neat system which lets you not only make suggestions and give feedback, but also to vote on other people’s ideas. We check these regularly and we will do our best to give you what you want!

Follow Cgtuts+ on Twitter
If you’re a Twitter user, don’t forget to Follow Cgtuts+ on Twitter for links, posts and general chatter! You’ll also find our other Tuts+ sites on Twitter including the main @tutsplus feed for network news and site launches.

I would completely love if Cgtuts+ would take you on the way of building a video game map or atmosphere. Epic material if it were to be posted.

Rhino3D – know it’s a bit more product design oriented, but designers need tutorials too! =D
I think a Maya and Zbrush workflow with a very simple character would be great!

3ds max tutorials please
Hi first of all I want to thank you for putting this site up, I will like to see some pipeline examples, from rendering passes up to after effects, color correction…balancing etc, also I think it`ll be really important to talk about render passes, as a 3d artist I find myself doing lots of different passes….and sometimes get myself mixed up with up to 15 or more different passes, and have to composite them together.
also if possible it`ll be cool to have some `freebies` …personally I`ll like to see some `good` shaders…. for ice, concrete, stone, snow. I see a lot around the web, but most of them are not nice, Knowing the quality of your work If any of my petitions is done I know it`ll be a blast… have a good one guys, and cheers again!
I’m new to 3Ds Max and Cinema 4D…
The second I can use it quite good, but with the first I’m a newbie… so help me with 3Ds Max!!
P.S.: I’m also a programmer (with C++), and I’m interested in 3D Game, then, I really want something about charapter design, but also the environment…
Sorry for my not perfect english, but I’m italian ^^”
3ds Max basic and advance modeling, also character modelings in the same as they may help some beginners really much. And reducing rendering time is the main from my opinion. Aww.. man it’s just too boring when we use mental ray.
Blender, blender, and more blender.
Hy,
One thing I would find very useful is how to model and set up real world scenes for non modelers.
Designers often need visualization. I can think of paper bags bottles of wine and most often non 3d objects posters, envelopes.
So if we could have a basic setup were one has all these things ready to take the map and tweak it a little bit and render that would be great.
The first thing that comes to mind is for a basic stationary – Folder, envelope, A4 paper, and shooting rig.
Autobot creation/animation/simulation tutorial!
