    SoftImage tutorials please!

I would love to see a series that covered the whole character animation workflow from modelling, sculpting (maybe in ZBrush), texture/normal mapping, rigging, and animation.

There are a few SoftImage tutorials still on the net, but most are many version too old – it would be wonderful to have some up-to-date tutorials.

    Also…
Papervision3D or Away3D integration, particularly demonstrating how to get animated models into these frameworks.

    Thanks!

  6. Romulus says:

Please Cinema 4D, especially texts animations with mograph and the integration in after effects.

    Thanks in advance

Similar to Nettuts and PSDtuts, industry standard tuts, preferably Maya or 3DS Max, would be appreciated.

-unwrapping UV’s for a character model
-normal maps from ZBrush to maya
    -photorealistic car modeling
    -hi-poly iPhone model

    just some ideas..

MAYA DYNAMICS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anything with Maya dynamics would be great, like for fields or emitters. I’ve searched the internet far and wide for a video tutorial that explains how to make really “realistic” fire and explosions using Maya’s fluid dynamics and have found little to nothing, except for some stuff at the gnomon workshop that you have to pay for. And they don’t even give any convincing sample tutorials on the topic to entice me into buying their dvds. I have been able to get some ok results using Maya’s example scenes but fall short of getting realistic results. Maya doesn’t even have any plugins like 3DS Max does for fire and explosions such as fume fx, so unless there is a plugin that I don’t know about I’m stuck with Maya’s built in fluids/gases engine. Also any tutorials using Maya’s cloth and fur plugins would be awesome too. Oh, and tutorials that integrate live action with CG elements using 3D trackers like Syntheyes. Thanks!

    More Cinema 4D tutorials.
Something like modeling and animate a transformer would be realy cool!
For example: a transform from a ipod to a little simple robot.
I tried somethings with PBlurp but i didn’t get the transformer-look effect.
I think it would be a great tutorial.

Most of the tutorials around the web for 3d are for 3DsMax or Maya and Blender.
In Cinema 4D you can make awesome motion graphic animations, but there are so few tutorials for this.

So I hope that er is a Cinema 4D pro out there who can make some cool usefull tutorials. And there are som good tutorials offcourse no doubt about that. Only its not that many.

a Transformer modeling/animation tutorial is what i want the most and some cool motion graphic tutorials would also be cool.

Sorry for my bad English, but I hope you can help me.
