Isn’t it looking like VideoCoPilot’s stuff? I remember one of your earlier post “splatter” also looked same as VideoCoPilot’s stuff. http://videocopilot.net/products/riotgear/
Isn’t it?
Hi, yep it’s similar, but does it mean that I can’t shoot my own stock? Maybe Andrew Kramer invented ink splatters or ink drops? It seems that you’re living for critisizing people on tuts+ sites. I saw your post for one of the last AEtuts+ tutorials. Your skills are way below other authors and you still trying to critisize and flame people.. I don’t like people like you who critisize before they think about it. When you become better motion designer and CG artist you can critisize me!
regards
Stefan
Dear Stefan, why are you getting so angry? I just raised the question on similarity, doesn’t mean I told that “you have stolen the still frames from the Riot Gear package” or is it so? Why are you speaking so harshly?
“Your skills are way below other authors and you still trying to critisize and flame people.. ”
Thats why the “felt tip”,owner of VideoHive doen’t know about the relationship between Parenting and Expression in AE. and I taught him very well.See my post there. He was 15 years experienced person and you are mere 2 years and you tell me “Your skills are way below other authors and you still trying to critisize and flame people.. ” LoL!
Now I am very sure that you have used “Riot Gears” elements here manipulating the frames in your style. Now what would be your next post- paper texture, ink flow, paint splatter, TV noise ,moving clouds or what?
You know why are you so angry, because “a speck in the beard of a thief”.
many people who have tuts membership may not have riot gear, and since stephan filmed these himself, more people now have access to these elements.
Torrent and Rapidshare have encouraged the plagiarism,Sadly!!
Chandan Kumar think whatever you want, actually I don’t really care. Looking at your site and seeing your tutorial on how to animate flourish.. come on man it’s retardet to paint the frams in photoshop and save them to create an animation.. it takes forver! Use stroke instead
And yes you’re right my next submittion will be a paper textures! Next I will post the thing you listed and do you know why I will do that? Because I can shoot my own things. As long as the content is shot with my camera it’s original made from me and I can publish whatever I decide if it’s approved.
Have a nice day dude and good luck with animating flourishes

Stefan
I’m not a premium member but for all your freebies thank you and thank for all the tutorials … some can be really simple , some can be really advanced but that is what you come to expect from having so much authors ,, its like a box of candy … you never know what you’re gonna get
and that’s why I love TUTS+ so much
Stefan, get off your High Horse. Chandan only raised the question of similarity but you go on by berating his website and calling him a Retard. You epitomize what the +tuts network has become. Childish amateur Tutorials and contributors. I for one hope that you never get approved again and this site returns to some of its professional past.
Hah, Stave if you look at his website closely you will get my point I’m sure
regards Stefan
And still you continue?
What’s wrong with you man? I put a lot of hard work to create this kind of content and the fist comment complains that this is similar to riot gear, yes and what? I know how to do my own stuff why not create some that might be useful for other users. Image that you publish this kind of content and you get such a first comment especially from person like him.. I’m sick of comments like this that’s why I got so angry at first. Because people only know to talk. Think about author’s hard work and then comment..
I find your attitude appalling. As a contributor offering content that has to paid for, you should conduct yourself in a more professional manner. Chandans mere question was followed by you with a personal attack on him and his website.
Well I’m sorry for that kind of comment, but I was really disappointed from this comment.. I mean I worked a couple of days shooting and retouching this iamges and when it’s published this comment. I hope you understand me now. Sorry for being rude.
regards
Stefan
Hey guys,
I have a few things to say here :
1) Chandan – I agree that these are a similar concept to the Video-Copilot elements, however we are not in any way trying to directly compete with Andrew Kramer and his Team, or indeed any of the other stock sites that provide this type of content. I think what we have provided here is an excellent mid-point between the free examples available elsewhere on the web and the (frankly awesome) Video-Copilot material in terms of resolution and price-point
2) Steve – I appreciate your honesty, and I’m sorry you feel that way. If you have any suggestions at all as to things you’d like to see me put together here on Cgtuts+, please feel free to let me know and I’ll be happy to see what I can do!
3) Stefan – I would expect a better attitude from our authors. Please keep that in mind when responding to the people who have taken the time to comment on your content in the future. Plus, although in the anonymous realm of the internet apologies usually mean nothing, it may be appreciated by both Chandan (who has published and will be publishing more tutorials on the site himself) and Steve.
As an overall rule I don’t like moderating comments on the site as I believe that allowing criticism of our tutorials is an important part in helping push us to publish ‘better’ content. I do however draw the line at personal attacks, as it is simply not what I want our community to become.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi, Matt
Please don’t approve at least for a couple of months or so… any submissions from Stefan. So far teh latest things he’s publishing are rubbish. Pictures of clouds ? WTF?! images of ink – NOT VIDEO! smoky flame etc etc…
Try to elevate the quality here – please o so please!
really what we will do with the images of the ink splatters or anything if it is not animated or moving. If Stefan has filmed everything with his own cam then he should have posted the moving footage not just the useless images.BAN HIM.
I think we all need to have a group hug.
Agree
(hug)
Hey guy, let have look to my drop effect movies on : http://vimeo.com/14938666
and let me know what you think?
Stefan,Can you tell me how to use these images?
salman, here is an example tutorial at PSDtuts+ on how to use still images ink drops
